l’eau sézane

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens / Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens / Brown paper packages tied up with strings / These are a few of my favorite things.

While raindrops on roses and bright copper kettles bring a smile to my face too, I also have a few other favorite things. One of these things is something I recently purchased and received – L’Eau Sézane.

According to their website:

L’Eau Sézane, is the fragrance of fresh air, a soft and sparkling scent created alongside master perfumer Jérôme Di Marino. This feminine perfume is a marriage of citrus fruits with the lightness of a floral bouquet. A dash of Neroli oil paired with Jasmin and peony petals. The after notes of L’Eau Sézane are a blend of light wood coated in a veil of musk. It floats in the air, like rays of sunshine in the late afternoon… To be sprayed in the home or worn on your person.

This bottle (260 mL) of perfume is made in France. Ingredients include alcohol denat., aqua, parfum, linalool, limonene, géraniol, citronellol, and citral. It’s $90 so it’s a bit on the pricier side, but the whole bottle will last for quite some time.

This is a lovely light and floral scent that is just perfect for the warmer spring and summer weather. This is the fragrance that Sézane spritzes on their packaging. It’s reminiscient of Paris. Notes are floral, green, powdered, and honeyed.

In the past, you could only purchase L’Eau Sézane from their Paris stores. However it’s now available on Sézane’s online shop. And right now, Sézane offers free deliveries (except for express shipping) and returns.

The perfume was delivered in its recycled paper box and biological vegetal ink. The bottle is eco-friendly, made from 20% recycled glass. It’s a beautiful bottle, one that I will keep even after I’ve used up the perfume.

Have you ever tried L’Eau Sézane? What’s your favorite perfume/cologne?
